Works are progressing, weather permitting. The latest pictures show the vertical re-enforced steel cage being constructed which is anchored to another re-enforced steel sheet laid at the bottom of the cage. The cage is being lined with polypropylene based sheets (vertical) and special perforated polypropylene material (horizontal) to prevent any possible horizontal slippage. Crushed stone is then, layer by layer progressively backfilled up to platform height allowing for a 150mm re-enforced concrete slab. The overall length of the Platform is 114 metres suitable for a 5 carriage train.
